Ab Sommer 2022 organisiert eine Gruppe von Künstler*innen, Forscher*innen, Bäuer*innen, Kultur- und Landarbeiter*innen zusammen mit dem Bäuerinnenkollektiv Lawine auf dem Gutshof Neuendorf im Sande eine agricultures school / Schule für Landkulturen und kollektive Experimente, in der emanzipatorisches landwirtschaftliches Wissen und künstlerische Formen des Lernens ineinander greifen.
Uns verbindet die Sehnsucht nach einem Ort, wo Landwirtschaft, Queerness, dekoloniale Ökologiekonzepte, diskriminierungskritische, antirassistische Bildung und feministisches Agrar- und Heilwissen in der Gegenwart integriert werden können.
Mit der agricultures school möchten wir einen solchen Ort schaffen.
Die agricultures school ist auf dem Gutshof in Neuendorf im Sande angesiedelt und knüpft an dieses historische Umfeld an, vor allem seine wenig bekannte Geschichte als jüdische Landwirtschaftsschule, die Teil der Hachschara Bewegung war, und sein gegenwärtiges Bestehen als Raum für solidarische Formen der Landwirtschaft und des Miteinanders.
Die agricultures school zielt darauf ab, dieses vielfältige kulturelle, ökologische und politische Erbe von Neuendorf und ihr lebendiges Gefüge aus Menschen, Tieren, Erde, Wald, Pflanzen und Schichten von Leben, Begehren, Wissen und Geschichte/n als einen Raum des Ver_Lernens zu aktivieren.
Im Juli und September 2022 findet die agricultures school über zwei Wochenenden und einer Reihe von DIY Publikations- und Podcastformaten statt.

In Workshops, Lesungen, Gesprächen, Filmvorführungen, beim gemeinsamen Kochen und auf dem Acker arbeiten möchten wir mit Interessierten und Wissensträger*innen ganz verschiedener Hintergründe und Lebenswirklichkeiten aktiv zusammen lernen und altes wie neues Wissen neu verknüpfen.
Das erste Treffen der agricultures school ist dem Boden, unseren alltäglichen, historischen und strukturellen Beziehungen zur Erde gewidmet. Dabei gehen wir ausgehend vom Gutshof als kollektivem Organismus lebendiger Geschichte sowie von verschiedenen künstlerischen, landwirtschaftlichen und politischen Praxen und Recherchen den Verbindungen von Land, Kolonialismus, Gender und Ökologien nach. Wir beschäftigen uns mit Fragen und radikalen Ansätzen zu land rights / Recht auf Land, die seit Jahrhunderten an der Basis antikolonialer, indigener und feministischer Bewegungen sind und heute alternative bäuerliche und ökologische Politiken und Forderungen prägen. Wie können wir Landwirtschaft und Landleben dekolonial denken? Welche Geschichten queer feministischer und antikolonialer Bewegungen (er)kennen wir oder können wir uns vorstellen? Wie sehen Beziehungen zu Erde, Boden, Land aus, die jenseits patriarchaler Erbschafts- und kapitalistischer Eigentumsverhältnisse existieren? Welche historischen und gegenwärtigen Verbindungen bestehen zwischen Landbesitz, Landwirtschaft und Krieg? Wie sind wir persönlich und gesellschaftlich in diese Fragen verwickelt, was sind unsere eigenen Verankerungen, Erinnerungen, Widerstände und Begehren? Worin wurzeln sie, in der Vergangenheit, in der Zukunft und wie können wir diese Erdungen kollektiv weiter denken?
An einem Wochenende im Juli gehen wir diesen Fragen nach. Teil unserer Zusammenkunft ist, gemeinsame Räume und Essen vorzubereiten, Wissen und Arbeit zu teilen, uns auszuruhen, in verschiedenen Konstellationen auf dem Hof, im Wald und auf dem Acker unterwegs zu sein.

Ein Grundgedanke der agricultures school ist es, die Dokumentation von queeren und feministischen Bewegungen und Geschichten, von uns selbst, als zentrales Element in unsere Arbeit zu integrieren - um andere, die nicht teilnehmen können, daran teilhaben zu lassen, aber auch um eine andere Art der Geschichtsschreibung in der Gegenwart zu schaffen. Anhand verschiedener Formate und Methoden möchten wir Spuren des kollektiven und persönlichen, historischen und ökologischen Wissens und der Erfahrungen schaffen. Auf diese Weise entstehen Ressourcen, die das Wissen, das in der agricultures school zusammenkommt ebenso wie die dekolonialen und feministischen Geschichten und Pädegogiken aus denen es hervorgeht dokumentiert und weitergibt.
Sonntag, 3 Juli - 14 Uhr
Öffnung des Raums und Abschluss des Wochenendes mit der öffentlichen Buchvorstellung und Lesung des Buchs "Peace with the earth" zusammen mit der Herausgeberin Asa Sonjasdotter und der Mitwirkenden Ros Gray. "Peace with the earth" wurde während des Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkriegs von den schwedischen Frauenrechtlerinnen und Friedensaktivistinnen Elin Wägner [1882-1949], Schriftstellerin, und Elisabeth Tamm [1880-1958], Politikerin und Praktikerin des ökologischen Landbaus, geschrieben. Diese englische Übersetzung ist die erste Ausgabe in einer anderen Sprache. Sie sammelt Erfahrungen aus den miteinander verbundenen Widerstandsbewegungen für das Frauenwahlrecht, den Frieden und den ökologischen Landbau in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die Teilnehmerinnen dieser Bewegung waren radikale, intellektuelle, unangepasste Frauen, von denen sich viele heute wahrscheinlich als queer bezeichnen würden. Die Übersetzung und erneute Lektüre von "Peace with the earth" über verschiedene Sprachen, Länder und Praktiken hinweg ist heute ein Weg, um an die breiteren Diskussionen anzuknüpfen, aus denen die in dieser Broschüre festgehaltenen Erkenntnisse hervorgegangen sind, damit die aktuelle Debatte an Kontinuität und Reichweite gewinnt.
Sonntag, 3 Juli – ab 15 Uhr
Lazy Sunday auf dem Gutshof Neuendorf - ein offener Nachmittag, organisiert von Geschichte hat Zukunft e.V., mit einem öffentlichen historischen Spaziergang über den Gutshof, Konzert, Zusammensitzen und Essen. Alle sind eingeladen dabei zu sein und das Wochenende gemeinsam ausklingen zu lassen.
Ein paar Orgasachen..
Das Workshopwochenende ist FLINTA* only. Das heißt, es ist nur für Frauen, Lesben, Inter, nicht-binäre, Trans und Agender Personen.
Wir planen dieses Wochenende für eine Gruppe von insgesamt maximal 15-20 Personen.
Die generell gesprochene Sprache an dem Wochenende wird Englisch sein. Wir organisieren sehr gerne eine Übersetzung ins Deutsche! Bitte schreibt uns eure Sprachbedürfnisse und auch, ob ihr eine Übersetzung in eine andere Sprache als Englisch oder Deutsch benötigt, damit wir das gut organisieren können.
Die Räumlichkeiten für den Workshop sind im oberen Teil eines alten Stalles auf dem Gutshof. Bis jetzt gibt es keine andere Möglichkeit, als über eine Treppe dorthin zu gelangen. Wenn das für euch nicht möglich ist, schreibt uns bitte und wir organisieren einen anderen Workshopraum auf dem Gutshof, es gibt einige andere Möglichkeiten.
Um die Grundkosten für den Raum und die Verpflegung zu decken, bitten wir euch um einen Beitrag von ca. 30€. Dieses Wochenende ist auch Teil des lokalen Kunstförderprogramms DoK15518, das einige weitere Kosten abdeckt.
Wo ist dieser Gutshof?
Die Adresse lautet Gutshof 4d, 15518 Steinhöfel OT Neuendorf im Sande, in Ostbrandenburg gelegen. Zweimal pro Stunde fährt ein Zug von Berlin zum Bahnhof Fürstenwalde (Spree). Von dort können wir Abholungen zum Gutshof organisieren oder fahrt 25 Min mit dem Fahrrad. Wenn ihr euer eigenes Auto mitbringen und darin übernachten möchtet, gibt es auch dafür Platz.
Unterkunft
Auf dem Gutshof gibt es relativ einfach Schlafmöglichkeiten, die wir aber so gemütlich wie möglich gestalten wollen. Es gibt kleinere und größere Gästezimmer, schreibt uns gerne, wenn ihr einen bestimmten Wunsch oder Bedarf habt. Zelten ist ebenso eine schöne Möglichkeit.

Nur ein paar Zeilen - es geht uns vor allem darum, einen kurzen Eindruck über die Gruppenkonstellation zu bekommen. Vergesst nicht, eure besonderen Bedürfnisse, Lebensmittelallergien, Schlafvorlieben, Übersetzungswünsche oder Geldproblematiken zu teilen. Wir versuchen zusammen Lösungen zu finden!

Einige Hintergründe...
Die Agricultures School (kollektive Experimente) ist eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen Naturschutz Lawine e.V. und District*Schule ohne Zentrum, erdacht und organisiert von Asa Sonjasdotter (Künstlerin, Forscherin und Mitglied von ABL), Kaya Thomas (Landwirtin und Mitglied von ABL und ELAN), Lawine (Bäuerinnenkollektiv in Neuendorf) und Suza Husse (Kuratorin, Mitglied von District*Schule ohne Zentrum e.V.).
Zusane/Zusammen in Neuendorf - S.A.N.D.E. e.V. und das Lawine Bäuerinnenkollektiv
Die Projektgruppe Zusane hat den Gutshof im Jahr 2018 übernommen und ist eine Gruppe von 25 Erwachsenen und einigen Kindern, die es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht haben, das Gut mit neuem Leben zu füllen, Wohnungen zu renovieren und Räume für handwerkliche, landwirtschaftliche, künstlerische und soziale Projekte zu schaffen. Die Dokumentation und Bewahrung der spezifischen und einzigartigen Geschichte des Ortes ist eines der wesentlichen Ziele des Vereins Geschichte hat Zukunft - Neuendorf im Sande e.V., der ebenfalls auf dem Gutshof ansässig ist. Neben der Gruppe leben auf dem Gelände etwa 30 Mieter*innen, die den Gutshof schon sehr lange als ihr Zuhause betrachten. Das landwirtschaftliche Kollektiv Lawine ist auf dem Gutshof ansässig und bewirtschaftet die 16 Hektar Ackerland rund um das Gelände. Seit 3 Jahren wird eine solidarische Landwirtschaft aufgebaut, die momentan rund 200 Menschen in der Region ernährt.

District*Schule ohne Zentrum e.V. ist ein queer-feministischer Kunstraum und Kulturzentrum in Berlin. Verwurzelt in antidiskriminatorischen und dekolonialen Ansätzen, basiert unsere Arbeit auf kollaborativen Formaten und einem trans*lokalen Netzwerk von Praktiker*innen und Initiativen, Communities und Ökologien. Durch die Verknüpfung von künstlerischer Co-Recherche und politischer (Selbst-)Bildung erforscht die nomadische Schule ohne Zentrum kollektive Formen der Wissensproduktion und radikale Pädagogiken.

‚Peace With The Earth‘ - Book launch and continued conversations with Åsa Sonjasdotter, Ros Gray & the Agricultures School
In the summer of 2022, a group of artists, researchers, farmers, cultural and agricultural workers, together with the farming collective Lawine, begin organizing an agricultures school, a school for agricultural cultures and collective experiments, on the Gutshof Neuendorf im Sande, making place for emancipatory agricultural knowledge and artistic forms of learning.
We gather around the longing for a place where agriculture, queerness, decoconial ecological concepts, anti-discriminatory, anti-racist education and feminist agricultural and healing knowledge can be integrated in the present.
We want the agricultures school to be such a place.
The agricultures school is located at the Gutshof in Neuendorf im Sande. It connects to its historical environment, especially the little-known history of a Jewish agricultural school which was part of the Hachshara movement, and its current life as a solidarity based space of agriculture and togetherness. The agricultures school wants to activate this manifold cultural, ecological and political heritage of Neuendorf and its living fabric of people, animals, earth, forest, plants and layers of life, desire, knowledge and history/s as a space of un/learning.
In July and September 2022, the agricultures school will take place over two weekends, as well as a series of DIY publication and podcast formats.

By the format of workshops, readings, talks, film screenings, cooking together and working in the garden, we invite for the learning together with other curious people from very different backgrounds and realities of life, as ways for connecting old and new knowledge.
The first meeting of the agricultures school is dedicated to the soil, our everyday, and historical and structural relationships with the earth. Starting from the estate as a collective organism of living history and from various artistic, agricultural and political practices, we trace the connections between land, colonialism, gender and ecologies. We deal with questions and radical approaches to land rights that have been at the basis of anti-colonial, indigenous and feminist movements for centuries and today shape alternative rural and ecological policies and demands. How can we think of agriculture and rural life in a decolonial way? Which stories of queer feminist and anti-colonial movements do we know or can we imagine? What are the relationships to earth, soil, and land that exist beyond patriarchal inheritance and capitalist property relations? What are the historical and contemporary connections between land ownership, agriculture and war? How are we personally and socially involved in these questions, what are our own anchors, memories, resistances and desires? Where are they rooted, in the past, in the future, and how can we collectively continue to rework our relations to these groundings?
Throughout one weekend in July we will look into these questions. Part of our gathering involves the preparation of common rooms and food, the sharing of knowledge, work and resting, the joining in groups to work on the farm, in the forest, and in the garden.

Zines and DIY radio
A basic idea of the agricultures school is to integrate the documentation of queer and feminist movements and stories, of ourselves, as a central element in our work - to share with others who cannot participate, but also as a way of manifesting this historiography in the present. Using different formats and methods, we want to create traces of collective and personal, historical and ecological knowledge and experiences. In this way, resources are created that document and pass on the knowledge that comes together in the agricultures school, together with the decolonial and feminist stories and pedagogies from which it emerges.
Sunday 3 July - 2pm
Opening of the space and finishing of the weekend with the public launch and reading of the book 'Peace With the Earth' together with its editor Åsa Sonjasdotter and contributor to the book, Ros Gray. 'Peace With the Earth' was written during the outbreak of the WW2 by the Swedish suffragettes and peace activists Elin Wägner [1882 - 1949] who was an author, and Elisabeth Tamm [1880- 1958] who was a politician and a practitioner of organic farming. This English translation is the first edition in another language. It gathers experiences made in the interrelated movements for women’s suffrage, peace, and organic farming taking place as resistance-from-within imperial powers during the first half of the 2000 century. The participants of this movement were radical, intellectual, non-conforming women, of whom many today most probably would call themselves queer. To translate and re-read 'Peace With the Earth' across languages, countries and practices today is a way to reconnect to the wider discussions that the learnings captured in this pamphlet have emerged from, for the current debate to gain continuity, debt and scope.

Lazy Sunday on the Gutshof Neuendorf - an open afternoon, organized by Geschichte hat Zukunft e.V., with a public historical walk around the place, concert, sitting together and food. Everybody is invited to join in and have a nice common finish of the weekend.

The weekend space is WLINTA* only. This means it is for and by Women, Lesbian, Inter, Non-binary, Trans and Agender people.
We are planning this weekend to be a group of 15-20 people maximum.
The general spoken language will be english and we organize translation to german if it is needed. Please let us know about your language preferences and also if you need translation into any other language so we can organize it.
The workshop space is planned to be in the upper part of an old stable on the Gutshof. Until now there is no way to get up there other than with stairs. If you cannot make this, please let us know and we organize another workshop space on the Gutshof, there are some other possibilities.
To cover the basic costs of the place and food, we ask you to contribute around 30€. This weekend is also part of the local DoK15518 art program, which will cover some other costs.
Where is this Gutshof?
The adress is Gutshof 4d, 15518 Steinhöfel OT Neuendorf im Sande, located in east Brandenburg. There is a train from Berlin to Fürstenwalde (Spree) two times per hour. From there we can organize pick ups to the Gutshof or you cycle 25min with the bike. If you want to bring and sleep in your own car, there is also space for this here.
Accommodation
We can provide simple sleeping places which we try to make as cosy as possible for everybody. There are smaller and bigger guest rooms, let us know if you have a specific preference or need. Camping is also a nice possiblity.

Some backgrounds..
The agricultures school (collective experiments) is a collaboration between Lawine Naturschutz e.V. and District*School Without Center, dreamed up and organized by Asa Sonjasdotter (artist, researcher and member of AbL), Kaya Thomas (farmer and member of AbL and ELAN), Lawine collective (farming collective in Neuendorf) and Suza Husse (curator, member of District*School Without Center e.V.).
Zusane/Zusammen in Neuendorf - S.A.N.D.E. e.V. and the Lawine farming collective
The Zusane project group took over the estate in 2018 and is now a group of 23 adults and some children who have set themselves the task of filling the estate with new l8ife, renovating apartments and creating spaces for craft, agricultural, artistic and social projects. The documentation and preservation of the specific and unique history of the place is one of the fundamental aims of the association Geschichte hat Zukunft - Neuendorf im Sande e.V., that is also based at the estate. In addition to the group, there are around 20 tenants living on the site who have considered the Gutshof their home for a very long time. The farming collective Lawine is based on the Gutshof and takes care of the 16 hectares farming land around the site. Since 3 years, a community supported agriculture has been established and feeds around 200 people in the region.

Rooted in anti-discriminatory and decolonial approaches, our work is based on collaborative formats and a trans*local network of practitioners and initiatives, communities and ecologies. Linking artistic co-research and political (self)education, the nomadic Schule ohne Zentrum explores collective forms of knowledge production and radical pedagogies.
