/Austauschabend mit Alarm Phone- eine selbstorganisierte Hotline für Geflüchtete in Seenot.
Am Freitag, den 13.6. gehen wir in die dritte Runde von "Essen im Sande" in Neuendorf in diesem Jahr. Um 18:00 Uhr gibt's wunderbar leckere Küfa. Ab 19 Uhr wollen wir gemeinsam mit den Aktivist*innen aus dem Projekt „Watch the Med // Alarm Phone“ über die Situation an den europäischen Seegrenzen in Austausch kommen.
Das selbstorganisierte Netzwerk, dass als Hotline für Geflüchtete dient, die auf dem Mittelmeer in Seenot geraten sind hat sich 2014 gegründet. Zum 10-Jährigen Jubiläum in 2024 wurde eine Broschüre herausgegeben, die die letzten Jahre Seenotrettung aus der Sicht von Alarm Phone dokumentiert.
Am Abend werden Menschen aus dem Projekt da sein und über ihre Arbeit sprechen. Darüber hinaus gibt es eine szenische Lesung zum Schiffsunglück 2023 in Pylos. Lasst uns gemeinsam über (mehr) Bewegungsfreiheit an den europäischen Außengrenzen in den Austausch kommen!

On Friday, 13.6. we are going into the third round of "Essen im Sande" in Neuendorf this year. At 18:00 there will be wonderfully tasty Küfa. From 7 pm, we want to discuss the situation at the European sea borders with the activists from the project “Watch the Med // Alarm Phone”.
The self-organized network, which serves as a hotline for refugees who are in distress at sea in the Mediterranean, was founded in 2014. To mark its 10th anniversary in 2024, published a brochure documenting the last years of sea rescue from the perspective of Alarm Phone.
In the evening, people from the project will be there to talk about their work. There will also be a staged reading about the shipwreck 2023 in Pylos. Let's come together to discuss (more) freedom of movement at Europe's external borders at!
